Asia Carbon Global (ACG) positions itself as a service provider offering an integrated and seamless approach to the business of energy, environment and sustainable development with a specific focus on Climate Change. With offices located throughout Asia, ACG has an unmatched blend of expertise and an in- depth knowledge and experience in the development of carbon offset projects, particularly under Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) and the Voluntary Emission Reduction (VER) market.

PT. ACI is growing and seeks talented resources for CDM/Climate Change executive in support of our expanding portfolio in Indonesia.  Positions are based in Jakarta, Indonesia.

CDM/Climate Change Executives
In this mission critical role, the CDM/Climate Change will be responsible for facilitating the registration and certification of CTG’s project portfolio and conduct studies and projects related to Climate Change, such as but not limited to:

  • Developing project  CDM feasibility studies

  • Drafting Project Idea Notes (PINS) and developing Project Design Documents (PDDs)

  • Managing the project planning and development process

  • Engaging external stakeholders, including third party validators, Designated National Authorities (DNAs) and certification agencies

  • Designing and implementing effective, project-specific carbon monitoring and evaluation programs

  • Conduct research studies, projects and capacity building activities related to Climate Change issues

  • Provide support in business development such as proposal writing and client meetings

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 1 years of direct experience with either  aspects of carbon finance project lifecycles, particularly in the writing and technical development of PDDs;  or 2 years experience with manufacturing industries/chemical processes/energy industries

  • Mechanical/electrical/chemical engineer, preferably Graduate (Master’s) degree in either engineering or science

  • Excellent in English (written and oral communication skills) and good  interpersonal communication skills
